The film comprises footage from three parties, stretched apart in time, organized by Kubiak for and with women – friends, colleagues, members of the public. The work is underpinned by the idea that functioning in a female community supports one in working through one’s anxieties and traumas. The first of the parties deals with the transition from the role of a child to that of a woman and mother; the second one with the public revealing of one’s secrets. The triptych ends with a get-together where the invited women are accompanied by the figure of Kubiak’s father in the shape of a puppet.

The text printed on the fabric invokes Kubiak’s poem that served as a point of departure for her film Live, You Silly! In public space, it gains a political dimension, asking about the shape of a community that is no longer defined by ethnic, local, biological, or family kinship, but can be a result of a mature choice.
