The series Renaturation arose as a result of the artist’s exploration of man’s relationship with nature. Jeschke documents the process of nature claiming abandoned buildings and architectural elements. He paints actual places, unfolding a vision of nature’s domination as a consequence of industrial growth. Grass pushing up through cracks in the pavement, trees growing on concrete architecture – these are not merely images from the suburbs, but the actual condition of structures in very centre of Zielona Góra.
